DOLPHINS

So, the company that I volunteer for sent me and the other volunteers to Puerto Vallarta as a thank you gift.  The weekend was great. I swam and relaxed on the beach AND I swam with a dolphin. It was absolutely amazing and scary all in one. I am going to post a Facebook link as I have over 50 pictures to show you all of this weekends events.
The rest of the week was good as well. I hung out with some friends and studied and the usual. Unfortunately I had to say goodbye to two more friends that are returning to the United States. If anything, I have to say that the good byes are the hardest but it comes with the experience. So, with this being said I am going to leave you all with the photos. I hope you enjoy them.

El dia de independencia

So the Mexican Independence Day was so great.  I went to a celebration party Friday and Saturday, and hung out with friends on Sunday and Monday in Tepatitlan. It was awesome and great to see Mexico decorated with flags and pride. I don't really have too much to say about the parties except that they were really fun from what I remember if you get where I am going. Today, I am going to a barbecue with friends and they live on top of a tall building in Guadalajara so I can see the whole city in lights tonight. I will definitely be taking pictures of that to share with you all. For now, I am just going to leave you all with some pictures.  I hope you enjoy them. Until next week.

Tepatitlan and My New Class

So sorry I didn't post about the concert on Monday. I had finals last week and got really busy but the Juanes concert was great.  I was only able to take a few pictures as they were not allowed in the auditorium that I went to so I'll post them below.
This weekend, I went back to Tepatitlan with my former roommate. I have really grown attached to this little town. It's nice to get away from the big city sometimes.  I went to my first party on a ranch and to my first carne asada , which is a barbecue, this weekend.   Both were very fun and I can't wait to do it again. I will be going to Tepatitlan again this weekend as well for the Dia de Independicia (Independence Day) here in Mexico.  I want to see some of the celebrations in the small town as well as in Guadalajara.  I think due to the independence day, I have a four day weekend. So I cant wait to tell you all about.  Thank you all for reading.

Sorry for the quality of the pictures

I'm Back

So my mother helped me straighten out my debit card issues from last week and I am back in business. This week by far has been one of the best.
I started volunteering for this company here in Guadalajara that is like Facebook for girls between the ages of 8-16.  Gusanito.com, is like a Facebook in where girls can learn different languages and about different cultures, everything that I want to teach.
As well as this, I also went to Tepatitlan, which is a little town near Guadalajara.  It was nice to take a break from the big city to go there and hang out with friends and meet a lot of new people as well. It was a great night that I spent there. Also, while driving there I saw a soda factory where it look like they either made soda or bottle it.
As well as this, I also went to the center of Guadalajara to see Mariachi parade. Many mariachi bands from around the world came.  Me and my roommate only got to see a little bit of it as we arrived a little late  but it was still nice.  On September 16th (11pm on September 15th) Mexico has its independence day.  From now up until that date there will be a lot of Mariachi and celebrating of Mexico.  I am glad that I am here to see it all.
I also went to the Medrano twice this week. It is a long street in Guadalajara that sells  clothing for cheap so I bought some clothes from there.
As well as this, tonight, I am going to see the Juanes concert.  I will write a blog tomorrow solely about the concert tomorrow.
This week has been really great and I really enjoyed it. Since I have been running around so much this week, I need to do a little bit of studying today before the concert begins so I will leave you all with some pictures. Thank you so much for reading.
