Last minute craziness

This is it. In exactly one week, I will be in Guadalajara. Right now I am starting to pack, having my last "see you later" outings with friends and families, studying/reviewing everything
I know about Spanish (even thinking about reading a pocket size dictionary that my wonderful Women of Wellness advisor Beth Cocola gave me), and doing last minute things to prepare for the trip. Since this week will be a busy one, this will be the last blog that I write until I reach Guadalajara. So to everyone reading this, I will miss you and I will see you in the United States in December.

Going Away Party

My parents had a going away party for me today and a lot of my family came up gor it.  I really enjoyed myself and cannot believe that I am starting to say my "see you laters" (not goodbyes) to my family. Today I have exactly ten days before I will be in Mexico.   I am so excited, nervous, happy to see new things and sad to leave old things. This whole experience seems so bittersweet so far but I am excited to start a new chapter.

2 weeks

So, I finally received a lot of news from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara.  I have officially been accepted and will be learning about my host family next week. I am so excited, and nervous, and a whole lot of other emotions that Ican begin to describe.  I cant believe that today in two weeks I will be in a different country, seeing a different lifestyle, and living a different type of life.   University of Saint Joseph  community, I hope that everyone has as great a summer as I will be having, and thank you all so much for sharing my experience with me.

Getting close

Less than 3 weeks until I will be in Mexico. VERY excited.  I finally bought some plane tickets today and am getting  all the paper work done. Only have a few more things to do to prepare.
